With the economy and housing market showing signs of recovery, the time is ripe for home buyers who have been waiting for stabilization to go out home shopping once more. However, the question then becomes: how do you go about narrowing the search? A multitude of realtors and real estate agents operates out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, many of them with their own independent websites, networked websites and listing services.
Nu Home Source Realty operates several offices within the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Founded in 2004, and an associated blog with tips for potential home buyers as well as recent developments in the real estate market. Other branches that operate in the Dallas area are the Galloway-Heron branch and the Alice-Trevino branch. All Century 21 branches offer a mortgage financing service and a wide range of properties.
R/E Max also operates their own suite of offices, with a strong network presence in the Dallas area. Their websites offer virtual tours and a listing of open houses once you?ve acquired your shortlist (or are looking for a few more properties to place on it). The two primary offices operating from Dallas are the About Dallas, Dream Team and the Premier branches, though there are other smaller offices in the same area. Coldwell Banker also has a presence in the Dallas area, with both Apex and Residential Brokerage offices.
More localized realtor offices operate out of the Dallas-Fort Worth region too. One of the most prominent is the Ebby Halliday Realtor group, an association of Texas offices which specializes in luxury homes. Other companies are: Mimi Realty Group (based in Allen Texas), DFW Realtors-which specializes in helping homebuyers find a realtor in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and the Dallas Ellis Realtors. These are only a few offices or network sites that can help connect you with a real estate agent, regardless of whether you u are buying or selling.
Finally, there is a wide range of realty offices that specialize in apartment complexes and condominiums. Pace Realty operates out of the Dallas area and has a wide range of apartments and communities. Its Jefferson at North End community is advertised as being in a premium location with moderate amenities, with easy access to highway and downtown areas. With the advent of the internet, it is easier than ever to search for stats and figures on local realtors. The converse of that is that it becomes even easier for them to advertise, mislead, and replace quality of service with quality of marketing. As such, neutral rating sites are invaluable, as are traditional avenues of finding realtors (like the yellow pages, if you still get them). Follow all channels and you?ll be sure to get the best deal available.
